Since 1991,the outstanding properties of carbon nanotubes in areas such as mechanics, electrics,heat conductive material, and microwave absorption because of their unique structure have been found, scientists from many countries over world did a lot of researches to lay the foundation of the application of them.This dissertation systematically researches the influences of the ratio of ferrocene to xylene, reaction temperature, deposition time, the flux of protection gas(argon sweep gas), and other experiment parameters on the quality of aligned carbon nanotubes grown using CVD method. The results show that the thickness of aligned carbon nanotubes' layer increases with the rising of temperature, and the carbon nanotubes stop growing at over 9.00℃.The increase of deposition temperature results in the diminution of the carbon nanotubes radius, the raise of density of nanotubes in unit area, and entanglement of carbon nanotubes with thin radius become severe. When ferrocene increases, the impurity on the intertwist position between nanotubes and the CNTs amount with thin radius also increases. More rapidly does argon flow, the more the impurities on the surface of CNTs. When deposition time rises, the number of layers of the aligned array CNTs and the thickness of the every layer both increase.Then, investigated the field emission properties of several aligned carbon nanotubes made in different parameters and found that the carbon nanotubes layer's turn-on field and threshold filed decreases with the raise of deposition temperature. However, the raise of ferrocene will decrease the turn-on field, while the threshold filed increased. After the field emission, the impurity on the carbon nanotubes layer decreases, apparently, the field emission has the function to clean the carbon nanotube layer. In addition, we tried to use HCL to treat carbon nanotube layers and used sand paper to abrade it, and find that the two approaches can reduce the impurity on the carbon nanotube layers and the undulatory of the emission current of the carbon nanotubes layer.At last, a series of researches is conducted to the transferring process of carbon nanotube layer's fundus, and a test of the function of field emission in different fundus of carbon nanotube layer is made. The result is, if the imposed pressure is too strong when transfer the carbon nanotubes layer from Silica substrate to the aluminum foil, the lodging of carbon nanotubes happens. The viscose and insulant could be eradicated by heating the copper foil before membrane transference, and the conductivity between the carbon nanotubes and copper fundus improved a lot after transfered to the pretreated copper foil,while the field emission property of the previous carbon nanotubes layers being sufficiently retained. The field emission property of carbon nanotubes layer in stannum fundus is the best, but it should be paid enough attention when utilizing because the combination of stannum and carbon nanotubes layer is not firm enough so that it may cause the abscission of the carbon nanotubes layer. When using the technics of stannum soldering to transfer the carbon nanotubes to the copper fundus has a flaw that the carbon nanotubes will straggle in the copper so that the field emission of it is not ideal.
