Organic electroluminescent materials have many merits such as lower drive voltage, shorter response time, high luminescence brightness and efficiency. It is easy to modulate color to realize the whole color display and so on. They have become a new research hotspot of electroluminescent realm and attached importance by chemistry, optics, materials and related science realm extensively. This article briefly describes the advantages of light-emitting, development, principles, device structures and the preparation process. As the 8 - hydroxyquinoline HOMO mainly localized in the quinoline ring phenolic hydroxyl oxygen atoms and 5 - position carbon atom, and change the 5 - position substituents on the electron withdrawing groups, or to the electronic nature, can change the quinoline complexes between the HOMO and LUMO energy gap, causing the complex in the excited state of the intersystem crossing rate, the speed of transformation within the launch speed of the changing nature of attenuation, which change their spectral properties and quantum efficiency. The project is intended to be 8-hydroxyquinoline-based, through the suzuki coupling reaction of ligand 5 - position on the introduction of different types of aromatic side groups, such as 4-methoxy and 2,4-difluorophenyl, pyridine, etc., which are then ligands coordinated Pt+2, synthetic series of heavy metal with different substituted 8 - hydroxyquinoline complexes. Synthesized by complex chemical structure, chemical stability, phosphorescence spectra of the nature of phosphorescence lifetime, quantum efficiency, characterized by physical and chemical properties testing, focusing on the nature of different substituents caused by absorption and emission spectra of the complex changes in the extent of the tie material HOMO-LUMO energy gap of the impact, and the complex effects of quantum efficiency.New phosphorescence electroluminescence materials such as cyclometalated Platinum complexes were designed and synthesized in this thesis. We launched the work as following:1. The first synthesis of a series of primary ligand 8-hydroxyquinoline 5-Aryl-substituted and 2 - phenyl-pyridine (C ^ N) Pt (N ^ O) ring platinum metal complexes, synthesis using cesium carbonate do alkali, reaction time has been shortened, and improve the reaction yield. Through the 8-hydroxyquinoline 5 on the aryl-substituted, change quinoline complexes between the HOMO and LUMO energy gap and control the complex fluorescence emission wavelength, improving luminous efficiency.2. The first synthesis of a series of pairs of ligand 8-hydroxyquinoline 5-Aryl-substituted (N ^ O) Pt (N ^ O) ring of metal platinum complex, a large number of synthetic methods to explore and put forward A new synthetic method, by 8-hydroxyquinoline 5 on the aryl-substituted, change quinoline complexes between the HOMO and LUMO energy gap and control the complex fluorescence emission wavelength, improving luminous efficiency.
