In order to solve the corrosion and wear problems of sucker rod ring join in exploiting rod oil, we choose the method of cold spraying high frequency induction to enhance its hardness, abrasion and corrosion resistance. Contending the requirements of cold spraying high frequency induction, appropriate self-protection agents should be selected to solve the alloy elements burning, easy flowing, badly forming in the process of induction cladding. According to self-protection principle and B2O3-SiO2 phase diagram, use SiO2, Al2O3, TiO2, H2BO3 Boroaluminosilicate as the main framework, add Al powder, rare earth lanthanum oxide, CaF2, select self-protection agents as follows: use W(SiO2)/(W(H2BO3)+W(SiO2))≈90%, W(Al2O3)+W(SiO2)+W(TiO2)≥60%, 5%Al powder-as basic agents, in the basic formula adding 5% CaF2, and 6% La2O3 respectively, its cladding forming best. As the protective agent different, Ni60 coating microstructure and properties change. Through the analysis of macro-morphology microstructure, microhardness, XRD, SEM, electrochemical corrosion test. The test result show: All three kinds of self-protecting coating agent have the antioxidant and anti-flowing function, however we can obtain the best coating using the self-protection with Al + rare-earth oxides.Using high frequency induction to make Ni60/Cr3C2-NiCr coating with the best self-protection, By the study of microstructure, microhardness, XRD, erosion and electrochemical corrosion test, the results show that when containng 35% Cr3C2-NiCr, the cladding layer have the best microstructure, the highest average microhardness, better erosion and corrosion properties. However, the content of Cr3C2-NiCr changes the corrosion mode. While containing 45% Cr3C2-NiCr, the corrosion mode of coatings varys from comprehensive corrosion to pitting corrosion.
