| The former U.S. Vice President Al Gore, who is not only a well-known American statesman but also a Nobel Peace Prize winner, devotes himself to the theoretical research and dissemination in environmental protection. After analyzed the roots of ecological crisis, Al Gore proposed the solution to the environmental crisis by global cooperation."The Marshall Plan of Global environmental"drafted by Gore and his concept of "carbon trading" have been hot topics in the field of the environment and economy. Gore's thinking of environmental protection has provided a direction and blueprint for solving global ecological crisis. It's significant to research the thinking of Gore on the globalization background.After reviewed early life of Gore and his political experience, his teenage environmental protection education, the environmental thinking caused by the Gore's family accidents, the track of the environmental policies between his political career, and the theoretical research and dissemination in environmental protection have been shown in the Chapter 1. Then Gore's psychological roots and characteristics in his theories can be found.It is interpreted in this thesis on the thinking of environmental protection by Gore, including his opinion on the roots and strategies of ecological crisis and disbalance. The five strategic goals proposed by Gore are also analyzed by the author of this thesis who also reflects the effective approaches in which countries all over the world can deal with environmental problems by cooperation. In addition, nine errors judged by Mr Justice Burton in the documentary"An Inconvenient Truth"is commented.At last, according to the disputes and comments from academy, political field and media, a perspective and relative reasonable criticism by the author will be proposed. |
