To satisfy the need of the special machine, 7A60 super high strength aluminum alloy is manufactured. The special machine is a kind of sensitive technique on international, so it is great social benefit that 7A60 high strength aluminum alloy is independently researched. Four planks used in the special machine are made by forging pieces of 7A60 high strength aluminum alloy. It is an important topic that all-sided performance and the heat treatment process of 7A60 high strength aluminum alloy are researched. The purposes of the disquisition on all-sided performance of forging pieces are as follows. The first, the material performance should be tested veraciously, and the material technical state should be reflected accurately. So, it can provide the improvement for the material process. The second, the actual performance criterion which material can up to for the design department is provided, and the basic data of the design optimization for the special machine is provided. The last, the diversified performance criterion effected the material use are researched, and the testing standards for the diversified performance are instituted, and the material checked and accepted standards are confirmed, and the tested material according to these standards can satisfy the using request of the special machine. The researched difficulties are as follows. On the one hand, the researched contents for all-sided performance are confirmed on the base of the working condition and the design request of forging pieces of 7A60 high strength aluminum alloy. There is no time and energy to research and test roundly due to the many parameters of the material diversified performance. Based on the request of the special machine, we confirmed which parameters are obligatory or inessential or needless. On the other difficulty is that the size of forging pieces is smaller and the working condition of material is special. Moreover, many performance parameters can't be tested by normal sample and normal method, so testing method must be studied independently, and the inner standards must be instituted. The innovations in this paper are as follows. Firstly, the testing results of all-sided performance of forging pieces have been gained under the different process conditions. By these results, the key performance and process state of material are reflected veritably and reliably. Therefore, these results provide important basis for the process improvement of material, and afford the base of finalizing the design of material manufacture. Secondly, it offered the actual performance standards for design department, and provided basic data to optimize the design for the special machine. Finally, it instituted diversified performance testing standards, and confirmed the checked and accepted material standards, and guaranteed that the checked and accepted material can satisfy the using request of the special machine.Anti-tensile strength performance of electrical machine rotor made by 70Si2Mn has lower than that of the technical condition request under the actual heat treatment process, and also some measures of the heat treatment process have disadvantage to production efficiency more and more serious with increasing mass production. Aimed to these aspects, change regulations between various factors are known by improving the heat treatment process of electrical machine rotor made by 70Si2Mn. The results show that electrical machine rotor improved heat treatment process not only has better magnetic and electromechanical properties, and also its strength can satisfy the technical condition request. It is greatly increased production efficiency, and reduced production cost.
