Oil platforms to support the ship's design has its own specificity: it is not only supplying oil, water, mud, drill pipe and other supplies, but also has towing anchor function. So the performance requirements for the ship's cargo and conventional and the tug are quite different from the cargo ships. Against a high-power deep-sea oil support vessels (OSV) to establish mathematical models and optimization objectives include: rapidity, maneuverability, sea keeping and structural properties.Among them, rapidity coefficients using the inverse of the Navy; ship seakeeping consides in the waves of the pitching angle, and heave amplitude as a stealth targets; handling supply vessels is the most important indicator of evaluation involves many aspects, consider the straight-line stability of the key index, rotation index, heading to change the index, and several other key parameters. The characteristics of the supply ship for the economic optimization of the main consideration of the overall scale of the impact of the weight of the whole ship.Optimum design of the ship the ship of modern design methods, one of the core content, it is a multi-objective optimization and multi-attribute decision-making. As the conflict between objectives, it is difficult to find a truly optimal solution. Therefore, solving multi-objective optimization problems the main task is to seek the optimization of the setting in the Pareto optimal solution.Through improved NSGA-â…¡programming algorithm calculated the optimal results, combined with the supply of the ship's layout features and economic requirements, its application to the actual design.To sum up, the existing multi-objective optimization methods have been studied and put forward a solution to the overall optimization of complex systems, the ship improved multi-objective genetic algorithm to improve the overall performance of the OSV to save cost for the purpose of the OSV to optimize the design, make up deficiencies in traditional design methods.The obtained research results are as follows:1. Do research for multi-objective optimization theory, analysis the difference between traditional multi-objective optimization methods and the existing multi-objective optimization methods. The article focuses on the algorithms used in NSGA-â…¡. 2. The ship's design OSV content systematically. The multi-objective optimization theory applied to the overall optimization of the ship, we put forward for the OSV multi-level multi-objective mathematical model of the real work of guiding significance.3. The application to improve optimization algorithm-NSGA-â…¡(programmed by MATLAB) preferred a set of ship type programs to the design requirements for the actual ship.4. The optimal scheme for the preliminary design, based on the actual problems and makes related improvements. The overall optimization of the structure proposed by the direction of the next step is studied; the optimization method and to determine OSV structural optimization process is selected.
