Adding powdered activated carbon before BAF in water, and the BAF in the water before it is processed separately and conventional dosage of potassium permanganate, comparative analysis of the various processes of water purification unit to determine the water exposure auxiliary gas biofilter of powdered charcoal, and the role of potassium permanganate and dosing method, studies show that:(1)Adding powdered activated carbon 10~20mg/L,potassium 1.0~2.2mg/L in conventional treatment process, the average value of ammonia, CODMn,turbidity, color and smell and taste in raw water were:4.78mg/L,7.55mg/L,57.4NTU,30 degrees and 2.2 pm; the average value of ammonia, CODMn,turbidity, color and smell and taste in sand filter effluent were:4.52mg/L,3.71mg/L,0.57NTU,13degrees and 0.3pm;removal rates reached 5.40%,50.04%,99.0%,55.6% and 86.9%.(2)Adding powdered activated carbon before BAF in water, its retention within the filter, it can substantially increase the utilization of powdered activated carbon, but also chemical and biological the biodegradable organic matter adsorbed on the powdered activated carbon, improve the adsorption capacity of refractory pollution Matter on powder activated carbon. Saturated activated carbon by conventional backwashing into the follow-up treatment systems, as a biological carrier can still be further strengthened to play a biological role. When the powdered activated carbon dosage of 8mg/L,: the average values of ammonia nitrogen, CODMn, turbidity and color in sand filter effluent were:0.02mg/L,1.82mg/L,0.46NTU and 6 degrees; removal rates reached 99.60%, 71.23%, 99.1% and 80.6%.effluent compliance to the drinking water health standards(GB5749-2006) under nitrogen<0.5mg/L,CODMn<3mg/L,turbidity<1NTU and chroma<15 degree.(3)Adding the dosage of potassium permanganate in the water supply before the BAF can inhibit the algae, and can contribute to some of the ceramic filter surface chemical reaction of heavy metal ions and their removal, while the inhibition of microbial potassium permanganate lighter, but also to improve the biodegradability of the raw water. When the dosage of potassium permanganate 0.8mg/L, the average value of ammonia nitrogen, CODMn and algae in sand filter effluent were: 0.04mg/L,1.64mg/L and 260,000/L; removal rates reached 99.41%, 70.73% and 97.1%; sand filter all the water manganese concentration<0.05mg/L, effluent compliance to the drinking water health standards (GB5749-2006) under ammonia nitrogen<0.5mg/L,CODMn<3mg/L and Mn<0.1mg/L.(4)The dosage of potassium permanganate and powdered activated carbon adding before BAF in water were 8mg/L and 0.8mg/L; compare with the dosage of powdered activated carbon and potassium permanganate adding before conventional process, powder activated carbon and potassium permanganate dosage decreased by 20%~60% and 20%~64%.
