Three-dimensional electrode method, which can be applied in treatment of organic pollutants and make organic substances into CO2 and H2O, is a potential substitute for conventional processes such as two-dimensional electrode, Fenton method in the treatment of toxic organic wastewater of high concentration. The method has important value in environmental engineering research and applications because it's unique advantages such as strong degradation ability, simple operation.Compared with the traditional water treatment technology, membrane bioreactor (MBR) had obvious advantages, such as energy-saving, low investment, easy operation, handling and high efficiency. MBR has gradually become one of these hot hits for treatment of high concentration organic wastewater with the emerging of new membrane material, membrane structure and operating methods. This paper includes the following three aspects:1,The treatment of high concentration nitrobenzene wastewater with RuO2-IrO2-TiO2/Ti electrodeThe treatment of high concentration nitrobenzene wastewater by three-dimensional electrode had been investigated. Various influential factors of organic matter degradation were investigated and the optimum experimental conditions were as follows: 1.0g/L of Fe2+ and 0.8m3/h of aeration at the solution of pH 3.0 for 1.5h with 6cm of polar distance under 30V of voltage. The removal efficiency of COD and nitrobenzene were 93.1% and 96.5% respectively, and BOD5/COD ratio increased from 0.13 to 0.52 with a good biodegration for the high concentratin nitrobenzene wastewater.2,The treatment of three-dimensional electrode method in high concentration colophony wastewaterThe treatment effect of colophony wastewater had been studied under different conditions. The results showed that by providing pH of 3.0, electrode distance of 4 cm, electrolytic voltage of 20V, air flow of 0.6m3/h, reaction time of 1.5h, COD of colophony wastewater declined form 3440mg/L to 603mg/L. The removed COD was 82.5% that create the conditions for the further biochemical treatment.3,The mechanism on the degradation of high concentration of organic wastewater by three-dimensional electrode methodAnalyzed with GS-MS, the mechanism of the degradation of high concentration of organic wastewater had been discussed. The results demonstrated that the degradation pathway included two processes: oxidation and reduction, and reduction in the cathode reaction play an important role in the degradation of pollutants. Changes of pollutants in wastewater showed that three-dimensional electrode method was efficient in colophony wastewater treatment.4,Advanced treatment for high concentration nitrobenzene wastewater by MBRAdvanced treatment for high concentration nitrobenzene wastewater by MBR had been investigated. Hydraulic retention time, sludge retention time and other factors had been studied. After treatment, the total effluent COD concentration reduced to below 22mg/L.5,Advanced treatment for colophony wastewater by MBRThe effects of MBR on the degradation of COD and system running characteristics had been studied in stable operation. After treated with MBR, the effluent COD concentration maintained below 90mg/L, pH value stabilized at about 7.3, water flow rate maintained at 40kg/L, which showed that MBR had a good value in colophony wastewater field.
