Organic selenium (Se) reagents because of their special properties have important fields in organic synthesis application. However widespread academic view is that the side effects such as volatile, odor, toxic of low molecular weight organoselenium limit its response in the follow-up reaction and the development of chemical process. As a solution, we assume to graft the Se reagents on to the ionic liquid to make of selenium functional ionic liquids. If selenium reagent combined of the non-volatile ionic liquid, which avoid the volatile and toxic, the feature of ionic liquid easy to re-use avoid the complicated separation and recovery operations. Se-functional ionic liquid as reaction intermediates, the role will be fully demonstrated its non-volatile, high stability, easy recovery, easy-to-separation, which would be play a greater role in Chemistry and Chemical and pharmaceutical sectors.Based on these advantages, we have synthesized 12 kinds of selenium ionic liquid in this article. Their structures were confirmed by 1H-NMR, FT-IR characterization. Through the TG-DTG test, cyclic voltammetry test, the determination of the conductivity, the thermal stability and electrochemical properties were characterized for these 12 kinds of ionic liquids. And we have made preliminary attemptson the applications of selenobenzamide in the synthesis of inorganic nano-materials. The results show that:(1) Using NaBH4 as reductant to reduct dibenzyl diselenide and diphenyl diselenide, and then with two halogenated hydrocarbons to obtained halogenated selenide by nucleophilic substitution, followed with applying the one-step reaction to synthesis the corresponding of chloride selenium methyl imidazole ionic liquid. (2) Using anion exchange, with acetone, methylene chloride, ethanol as solvent, react with NaOH, NaBF4, AgNO3 and the chloride ionic liquid to obtained hydroxide class, tetrafluoroborate and nitrate class type ionic liquids.(3) Characterized by 1H-NMR, FT-IR to determine the result of the ionic liquid, which were found that there is a pure synthesis of 1-benzyl selenium propyl-3-methylimidazolium ionic liquid,1-benzyl selenium hexyl-3-methylimidazolium ionic liquid,1-phenyl selenium propyl-3-methylimidazolium ionic liquids.(4) By TG-DTG testing the thermal stability of ionic liquids, studies have shown that ionic liquids have good thermal stability, especially BF4- class are best thermal stability of ionic liquids, OH- type ionic liquids worst; The cyclic voltammetry and conductivity testing confirmed that ionic liquids have good electrochemical properties, BF4-class ionic liquid electrochemical stability best, NO3- class ionic liquids most vulnerable electrochemical corrosion.(5) Use of selenobenzamide compounds as the source of selenium reacted with zinc and cadmium salt by the hydrothermal method at 120℃which were successfully prepared the hexagonal ZnSe nanoparticles, CdSe nanoparticles in hexagonal phase. UV-visible spectra show that they have some blue shift.Ionic liquid-supported selenium ethers because of their good thermal stability, conductivity, comparison wide electrochemical window, as well as no volatile can effectively avoid volatilization and poisoned issues, not environment polluting compare ideal green solvent and organoselenium.
