One of the most important reason for being a hazard to Huaihe River is the sudden Huaihe River pollution.The sudden Huaihe River pollution,which is generally due to the fact that a large waste water clumps from the tributaries import the main stream.Ying River is the largest tributary of the Huai River, which is also known as "barometer."of Huai River about the good or bad water quality.Taking the sudden phenomenon of pollution of Huaihe river as our object of study.By using SMS soft-ware, it is convenient for us to study by establish the two-dimensional water quality model of the basin which from Lu Taizi to Feng Tai and take advantage of the concentration of NH3-N as our pollute index. After we obtain the general migration of sudden phenomenon of pollution by numerical simulation,we can get further result,under the circumstance of different flow ratio and pollutant concentration ratio,that is the pollution of Huaihe river caused by its tributatry-ying river.In order to identify whether or not there is sudden phenomenon of pollution in Huaihe river,we have to find out the critical lines related to flow ratio and concentration ratio.
