Nickel is a kind of strategic non-ferrous metals, because of its excellent magnetic, plasticity and corrosion resistance, etc, it is widely used in various fields such as national defense, electroplating, chemical, metallurgy, machinery, electronics, architecture materials and other industries. With the development of national economy, China is becoming the world's largest consumer of nickel, nickel ore in China is facing crisis of grades decline and resource depletion. Therefore, to extract nickel from scraps and increase comprehensive utilization rate of resources as the current research topics of concern, has important strategic significance for the protection of the environment and the development of circular economy.This study based on comprehensive analyzed of various domestic and foreign studies about recovery of non-ferrous metals from copper slags, used the copper slag which imported from Russia in a factory in Hangzhou as the research object, for the purpose of reducing production costs, improving comprehensive utilization of mineral resources and reducing pollution, we combined of conditions of the business and environmental requirements, optimized improved the original leaching experiments, re-designed in the atmospHeric oxidizing copper sulfide under the conditions of copper slag in addition to selective leaching of nickel process method.The primary results of this study as follows:(1) Through the analysis of the addition of copper slag from copper sulfide XRD pHase, the result indicated:the copper slag of nickel mainly existed as NiS, Ni3S4 and Ni3S2 the forms, and copper mainly in forms of copper sulfate, copper sulfide and copper oxide.(2) By acid pressure oxidation system, copper slag from copper sulfide leaching of nickel dynamics, its leaching process is a gas-liquid-solid heterogeneous chemical reaction, the leaching process under external diffusion control, and its leaching process dense spHerical particle model:1-(1-α)1/3=Kt. In the experimental temperature range, the apparent activation energy of Nickel is 6.94 KJ/mol.(3) Based on single factor analysis combined with the leaching theory end pH, liquid to solid ratio, temperature, reaction time and through oxygen and other factors on the leaching of nickel for the orthogonal experiment, the optimum leaching conditions, oxygen, leaching temperature and leaching time. The order of the leaching of various factors is:the amount of oxygen> leaching temperature> leaching time> pH> liquid-solid ratio. Obtained by the orthogonal experiment in the most optimal combination of experimental conditions, the leaching rate of nickel is 73.42%, and copper leaching is 11.4%.
