The most of steel products were completed by the steel automatic production line. The dynamic scheduling of production, equipment stability and dynamic adjustment of process parameters directly affect the production line efficiency and product quality. This paper studies on the monitoring and management mode of the steel automatic production line, and the main contents are as follows:First of all, according to 6 Structure of metallurgical enterprise automation systems divided by ISO and functions and objects monitored, the system was divided into three parts: equipment monitoring and management system, process control system, production management control system.. The research was started from this three parts. Condition-based maintenance was offered highlighted based on real-time information collection in the machine control system; we proposed a method of the mathematical model combined with intelligent control in the process control system;, real-time control information for the production provided the basis for the dynamic scheduling in the production management control systemThe model of automatic production line monitoring and management based on special device was proposed. The hardware configuration and software systems of the special device had been designed. The monitoring of information can be transmitted in real time by the special device where the task information, production information and device information will be integrated organically. The probability of equipment reliability model was established with real-time information. The application of the mathematical model and intelligent control was illustrated by an example that hot strip rolling force was preset. It is important that a piece of video surveillance software is designed. This software achieves remote monitoring, and information Interaction through a Special device.Finally, the contents of the thesis are summarized. The future direction of studying is indicated as well.
