The Composite Extrusion Technology Of Cup-shaped Parts And Numerical Simulation

The shape of an guided missile body is cup-shaped parts,However, the current processing techniques can ensure neither the strength or the compatibility, nor the efficient application of materials with the low productivity effect, in a way to conserve energy,This paper studies the precision forming technology of the cup-shaped parts with abnormal shape. The workpieces can be greatly improved strength and productivity, to achieve the purpose of raw material reduction by this new technology.Take the extrusion of a cup-shaped parts as the research object,the numerical simulation of forming process are studied in this paper. To designing the die,the geometric model of die and rigid-plastic finite element model of simulation are built according to the demand of simulation analysis.The definition of interface condition between die and workpiece,the adding of material parameters,forming velocity of machine and mesh,is also done.It is the base of the following computer simulation. Through numerical simulation of finite element method(FEM),the course of extrusion of the cup-shaped parts is simulated.The forming of the deformation rate and friction are discussed which impact equivalent strain,equivalent stress and extrusion force.Based on the result of the FEM simulation,the extruded forming technology of the cup-shaped parts has been stipulated,to analysis the reasons of work-piece's flaws,and improve the die and forging technology in timely.
