The stability of the emulsion is associated with many factors. And if the stability of the emulsion was destroyed during transport, an accident is likely to happen. The emulsion inversion phenomenon is a very important safety factor in the exploitation and transportation of emulsion. Study on the inversion of emulsion is of great importance with the consideration of safe and economical transport. In this paper, OP-10 is used as the emulsifier and a series of emulsion with different parameter are prepared to study the effects of a few conditions. With increasing concentration of emulsifier, both static and dynamic stability of emulsion is increased. With the decline of the oil-water ratio, the static stability of emulsion is declined, the dynamic stability of emulsion is increased. With increasing concentration of salinity, the static and dynamic stability of emulsion is increased. When the temperature does not exceed the nepheloid of the emulsifier, with the increasing of the temperature, the static and dynamic stability of emulsion is increased. When the temperature exceed the nepheloid of the emulsifier, with the increasing of the temperature, the static and dynamic stability of emulsion is declined. With the increasing of the stirring energy, the static stability of emulsion is increased. Both too much and too little stirring energy make the dynamic stability of emulsion declined. With increasing concentration of alkali, both static and dynamic stability of emulsion is firstly increased and then declined.
