Because of its hydrophobic groups,amphiphilic polymers can emulsify crude oil to produce emulsions during formation flooding.In order to study the emulsification of amphiphilic polymers with crude oil in formation,high-speed shear emulsion device is usually used to prepare simulated emulsions in laboratory.However,the emulsion simulated by this method is quite different from the emulsion produced in the actual formation,so the follow-up experiments cannot be carried out well.Therefore,it is necessary to adopt a new method to simulate formation emulsion.According to the shortcomings of the existing devices,three different new emulsion devices are proposed and optimized.Finally,one of the emulsion devices is selected for development.A betaine amphiphilic polymer emulsion was prepared by sieve plate rotary emulsion device.The relationship between emulsion stability,device parameters and various influencing factors was studied by measuring the water release rate,particle size and stability of the emulsion.Finally,the emulsion prepared by the emulsion device was compared with the emulsion produced in the displacement experiment,and the similarity between the two was evaluated.The results show that among the three kinds of emulsion devices,the agitating emulsion device has the characteristics of improving the homogeneity of the emulsion as much as possible,but the disadvantage is that the efficiency is relatively low and the viscosity reduction of amphiphilic polymer solution cannot be controlled.Piston emulsion device and sieve plate rotary emulsion device are used to prepare emulsion through simulated stratum.However,because of the high requirement of piston emulsion device for process,through the optimization of these three devices,the sieve plate rotary emulsion device is selected to develop,and the relevant parameters are designed.Finally,the physical product is developed.Compared with the traditional emulsion device,the sieve plate rotary emulsion device can adjust the performance of the emulsion more finely and efficiently.The number of sieve plates,sieve pore size and emulsifying time in the emulsion device can affect the stability of the prepared emulsion.When the number of sieve plates is 5,the sieve pore diameter is 1 mm and the emulsifying time is 60 minutes,the stability of the prepared emulsion is the best.At the same time,the stability of amphiphilic polymer emulsion system increases with the increase of polymer concentration,salinity and the decrease of oil-water ratio.Through the comparison of similarity experiments,it is found that the sieve plate rotary emulsion device can simulate the emulsion produced in formations with different permeability from 0.1?m~2 to 3.0?m~2 by adjusting the sieve hole size and rotational speed.
