In the mine dust harm to the human health, and there is a huge threat to the production. Dust is concentrated highly, its dust concentration is more 3 ~ 5 times than the other location. With the idea of green and safe coal mine manufacture coming up, how to improve the rate of dust-settling has attracted a great deal of attention in the blasting face.By analyzing the present situation and development of research on dust-settling technology and analyzing the high-pressure water spray mechanism of dust-settling thoroughly, being a simple and effective way to the dust, High-pressure spray was proposed to deal with the dust in the blasting face.In this paper, the movement of dust particles around the water droplet has been studied, and an analytic solution to the dust particle movement Equation has been given. Based on the solution, the mathematical model of a single water droplet collecting dust particle rate was established. The model shows: the two main factors impacting of the dust-settling are water drop-let grain size and the droplet speed relative to the air flow, both of them related the water jet pressure and nozzle structure. Nozzle structure directly affects spray characteristics, so the secondary aerosol structure was used generally. Layout and location of nozzles and spraying time around the blasting influence collecting rate of mist flow. To get the best spray time around blasting, Using of runaway escapement controlled hydraulic valves opening and closing, a new type of hydraulic valves that can be timed had been designed. The valve can accurately control hydraulic valves opening and closing. Based on the analysis of the factors affecting spray consequent, the blasting face high-pressure spray cleaning system been designed.Analysis has proved the high-pressure spray cleaning system has rational structure and notable dust-collecting effect. It is worthy popularization.
