China's coal resources, the majority of low-grade coal, coal spontaneous combustion fire occurrence probability and damage caused by relatively high. The most important factor affecting spontaneous combustion of coal chemical structure of coal, mining method, loose coal particle size, ventilation, face of the advancing speed, in addition to some of the inevitable human factors. Many domestic and foreign scholars from coal oxidation temperature shown by the state to start the macro, authenticity stronger, but a longer period; There is also a feature that is starting from the microscopic to the work of coal-based chemical, from the molecular structure model, free radicals and functional groups, and other internal angles of coal spontaneous combustion. In this paper, by studying the low metamorphic coal to high rank of the low-temperature oxidation of coal self-ignition process, master the low-temperature oxidation of coal gas at different stages of the product characteristics and variation of the temperature of the coal macro-variation; by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy experiments, determined coal at different times in different oxidized functional groups on which the principal changes, summed up the oxidation reaction of coal-oxygen reaction, the whole process to increase the performance of the oxygen-containing functional groups, fats, and aromatic groups reduced and the most vulnerable to aliphatic oxygen attack; can also changes the microstructure of coal to master the law of the oxidation of coal to determine the key to spontaneous combustion of coal oxidation, thus quantitative evaluation of spontaneous combustion of coal, forecasts and inhibitor studies lay the theoretical basis.
