Mineral resources are an essential material basis for industrial and agricultural production and social and economic development and are an important source of social wealth. More than 95% of China's primary energy, 80% of industrial raw materials and 70% of the agricultural means of production come from mining. Mining industry has become an important basic industry of national economy.China is the largest coal producer and consumer of the world. Continuous coal mining in China not only stimulates local economic growth but also brings about a corresponding number of environmental disasters and social issues. Coal mining produces large amounts of subsidences and causes great ecological damage to the environment and a serious impact on people's lives and local economic development. Coal mining also evokes a series of serious social problems and impacts regional social and economic sustainable development.At present, the mine geological environment restoration has become a popular research topic of ecology restoration.In this paper, with an example of Jingxing coal mine, we described the basis and the principle and objective of the geological environment restoration, and make a detailed description of the governance program for mining subsidence.
