The adsorption research of coalbed methane is the basis of prevention of coalbed methane. In view of adsorption mechanism has not been fully achieved consistency in understanding and learning at home and abroad,based on the previous research done by other scholars, this thesis focuses on the following research:Collecting a lot of coal make the industry analysis.The isotherm adsorption experiments (30℃, 6Mpa)on the coal in different elevation in the same coal seam on the same the earth's surface were carried out by means of the domestic WY-98A adsorption constant instrument, then using Origin software to do the linear, quadratic, three fitting for adsorption constant a, b, at last got a quadratic equation: a=c1+c2H-c3H2(c1, c2, c3 are constant), which indicates that adsorption constant a vary from coal seam elevations, but adsorption constant b has no significant changes; Also, Isotherm adsorption experiments on the coal that lie in the different coal seam but on the same elevation which come from Liaoning Beipiao, Yunnan Luxi, Xinjiang Baicheng were carried out, and analysis the result of research ;The isotherm adsorption experiments on the coal come from Shanxi Jingcheng,Lvliang,and Anhui Huainan in the deep coal seam under high pressure (12 Mpa) were carried out by means of foreign high pressure apparatus, research finds the adsorption trends of coal as press has three conditions as a whole.
