The natural rock slope, artificial slope deformation and failure often occur, if you can not accurately predict the stability of the slope, not only will cause serious property damage, but will cause serious casualties.Datang International victory in the East Pit opencast mine on the 2nd a direct impact on open pit slope stability of the production, if the landslide would cause great loss of open-pit mine, therefore, this paper stope conducted a study of slope stability. Victory in the East on the 2nd opencast coal mine geological conditions are: deposition in the basin of Quaternary loose sand, sand and gravel layer and the Cretaceous lacustrine coal seam cracks and sandy conglomerates, groundwater occurrence. Which mainly affected the stability of the South Slope of fault control, stability poor; body of rock slope at the same time belong to the soft rock, its anti-sabotage are less capable of easily lead to destruction of slope.Comprehensive comparison, this paper select Continuous Medium Fast Lagrangian Analysis (FLAC3D) numerical simulation analysis. Application of FLAC-3D Built-in strength reduction rapid and effective results to determine slope stability, recorded the largest imbalance force and the slope of the displacement vector of slope, etc. to explain the stability of the slope, Datang International victory in the East on the 2nd opencast coal mine pit slope is basically stable, the factor of safety of 1.43, by the practice to be reliable.
