Since the reforming and opening up, rural economy has made impressive progress in China. Natural ecosystems in rural areas, however, have been deadly destroyed. In particular, water pollution has become more and more serious.Water pollution is the combination of economic and social problems, which is based on not only economic factor, also on cultural, social structure and individual behavior and so on.Based on Coleman's rational choice theory and in the perspective of procedural, the author investigates the interest subjects'interest trend, coa courses of action, results of action, and relative conflicts and coordination among different subjects chronologically in dealing with the relation between development and water pollution in S village, from which the findings come out that the network is not static, but changing with the changing of rational choices. In the game, the relevant part of the subjects must sell their own interest to make this change in environment conducive to the formation of a coordination mechanism to avoid the "tragedy of the commons" appearances. Finally the problem of "survival and development" in some areas is discussed.Drawing on existing research findings, interviewing method, observational method and documentation method through interviews, observation and documentation used to collect the relevant information, the author avoids the defects of grand theory and probes interests subjects'social property in the perspective of macrograph and madhyamaka. This exploratory study makes up researches about environment in sociology. This is how the rural economy, social, ecological and environmental, useful to harmoniously developing of economy, society, and environment in rural areas.
