With the development of the South-to-North Water Diversion, Shandong Province continuously enhanced the discharge standard of enterprise, which made the previous wastewater treatment not cater to it. Under this circumstance, this paper aims to study the effluent of the wastewater treatment of a petrochemical enterprise, taking pilot project on wastewater treatment of the Line T6 by flocculant with high performance-and-price ratio which was chosen during the experiment. It provided theory and engineering support for the further COD reductions in the wastewater treatment plant of the Line T6.In the small-scale experiment, the flocculation properties of inorganic flocculant, organic flocculant, and compound flocculant were comparative analyzed. The poly anluminium polichorid-poly (diallyldimethylammonium chloride) (PAC-PDMDAAC) was chosen after discussed in the treatment efficiency and cost analysis:when dosage 40mg/L, the maximum treatment efficiency of turbidity was 79.6%. In the whole experimental dosage range, all the removal efficiencies of COD were above 40%, and the treatment efficiency reached 59.3% when the dosage was 40mg/L.On the basis of small-scale experiment, this flocculant used in the pilot project to ensure the effluent reached standard steadily. In the study, suitable technological process was chosen and different structures were designed. Besides, some parameters as sludge discharged, treatment efficiency of COD of different structures were analyzed, thus the indexes as optimum dosage, sludge discharged, backwash time, settling time, volume of treated wastewater were determined. Based on those factors, the running cost of the chosen structure could be calculated and the effluent reached standard could be guaranteed.
