The carpet tile backing is the carpet tile's important component, and the backing can protect fabric from being hooked to be enlarged, but also can increase the carpet tile's weight.Thus it can make the carpet tile be smooth,thick and improve the carpet tile's size stability and ruggedness. At present there are many problems need to solve. A new type of carpet backing mainly made from low dense polyethylene,atacticpolypropylene,Calcium carbonate and ethylene propylene diene monomer has been investigated, adopting the method of mixing and sulfur.Its good characteristics include environmental protection,high performance and low cost. The paper analyzes its performance with the changing of ingredient ratio.Through researching about LDPE,APP,EPDM,CaCO3,it is found that material content, heating time, heating temperature all affect the performance of the carpet tile significantly. The results show that when the LDPE:APP:EPDM:CaCO3=2:1:1:1, heating temperature of 230℃, heating time for 1 minute, the performance of the carpet tile is best.In order to meet the requirements that the back lining being flame-resistant, this paper has joined the green burning inhibitor magnesium hydroxide to the back lining material mixture, the system takes the flame retardance and the back lining key property good block rug back lining. According to discussion, LDPE:APP:EPDM:CaCO3=2:1:1:1,heating temperature of 230℃, heating time for 1 minute, the intensity of pressure is 3MPa, the back lining material's key property and the flame retardance are best.On the basis of Orthogonal test of the ratio of raw materials, the paper has discussed the iMPact of material has on the performance. The results show that:to the bunch of fabric withdrawal force influence factor is in turn the LDPE content, the APP content, the CaCO3 content, the Mg(OH)2 content, the EPDM content; to the back lining peeling force influence factor is in turn the EPDM content, the LDPE content, the APP content, the Mg(OH)2 content, the CaCO3 content; to the shrinkage influence factor is in turn the CaCO3 content, the LDPE content, the APP content, the Mg(OH)2 content, EPDM the content; to the warp influence factor is in turn the EPDM content, the LDPE content, the APP content, the CaCO3 content, the Mg(OH)2 content; to continues burns the influence factor is in turn the Mg(OH)2 content, the APP content, the EPDM content, the LDPE content, the CaCO3 content.
