Heterocyclic compounds containing imidazol or phenazine moiety are also an important organic fluorescent compounds, which extensively exist in nature compounds and have superior biological activities.Therefore, Heterocyclic compounds containing imidazol or phenazine moiety have attracted intensive research.This paper mainly consists of four parts:In the first part, a brief review of the luminescent mechanism and classification are provided. Besides, the recent development of application and synthesis of the target compounds are also discussed.The second part focus on the synthesis of 2-(1H-imidazo[4,5-b]phenazine-2-yl)- phenol derivatives.More than ten target compounds which are synthesized have not yet been reported. I also optimize the reaction conditions. The compounds were charactered by 1NMR, IR, UV, FL. The results show that the target compounds in this paper have not been reported in the literature.The third part is the spectroscopy of 2-(1H-imidazo[4,5-b]phenazine-2-yl)-phenol derivatives.The article investigates the UV, fluorescent spectroscopy in different solvents and the effect of solvent polarity and using methanol at last to caleulate the quantum yields,which is on the basis of the absorption and fluorescence spectra of quinine sulfate(Φ=0.577 in methanol)as standard. The results show that: (1) The targeting compounds having long absorption wavelength(more than 400nm), long emision wavelength(more than 535nm), large stokes'shift(more than 135nm); (2) different substituents have different influence to the UV absorption wavelength and fluorescent emission wavelength, especially amino-imidazophenazine.The last part focus on the coordination study between target compounds and copper(Ⅱ). The results show that 2-(1H-imidazo[4,5-b]phenazine-2-yl)-phenol derivatives and copper(Ⅱ) with the amount of material is based on 2:1, and in accordance with the amount of such material ratio, the fluorescent spectrum has undergone great changes,so they are very desirable for fluorescent probe.Finally we make a conclusion to the article and look forward to the development of the kind of the compounds we synthesised.Some spectra are listed.
