Crushed brick (CB) is one of the major components of construction wastes (CW). The main chemical composition of the CB is active SiO2 and active Al2O3, which affect the activity of waste brick and decide its utilization rate. Our country has suggested a series policy to restricting using clay brick and holding out encouraging developing new model wall body material, has accelerated the process of the wall body reforms.it provides a large space for emboldening CB wall materials.It have important meanings in environment protection but also in the efficient use of resources.This dissertation researches on CB lightweight wall—bricks. Regards CB as the basic materials, cement as gelled materials, quicklime and spent foam plastic as burdens And add appropriate amount of foaming liquid. Based on the test the main chemical compositions of CB powder and their weight percent, author studied the physical properties of brick powder, and with the coMparative analysis of physical, chemical properties of brick powder and fly ash analyzed the activity of brick powder. On preparation of CB new lightweight wall materials and technology factors were studied to optimize its formulation and process conditions, as well as to explore the formation mechanism of internal strength and formed foam for the development of CB lightweight heat proof wall material providing a theoretical basis, and the process of the experimental results were summarized on the need to address related issues were discussed.Confirming system of CB new wall materials basely formed by brick powder, cement, lime, spent foam plastic, foam Through Single factor, experiment,20-30% cement,15% lime,20% desulfurized gypsum,9~15g spent foam plastic,2~3.5solid-liquid ratio(quality of brick power fixed, various factors share percentage of the quality of brick powder respectively)were confirmed and process conditions of basic system were studied. Important order various factors to affect the material properties (bulk density, water absorption,28d compressive strength) were determined by orthogonal test and the best ratio determined:15% cement,20% gypsum,9g spent foam plastic,2.5 solid-liquid ratio (quality of brick power fixed, various factors share percentage of the quality of brick powder respectively).Optimal results:Bulk 723kg/m3, water absorption 21.4%,28d compressive strength of 3.2Mpa. In addition to achieve the expected goals, the performance reached the request of GB15229-1994 "lightweight aggregate concrete small hollow block".It can be used to fill the frame wall,inside the wall, especially suitable for high-rise building for the non-load-bearing wall or block replace the non-load-bearing part of the solid clay to reduce the weight of the building, thus increasing the use of the building Space.It is an effective way to solve the issues of Comprehensive utilization of resources of crushed brick in china, which Preparing.Light wall materials in the use of crushed brick.
