| The purpose of eco-compensation of biodiversity is protecting and using biodiversity sustainable, while it adjusts the regulation among the stakeholders by a variety of effective means and has a system arrangement. In essence, it has a rational reallocation relationship between Responsible and Benefit-sharing. In Wuyishan of Fujian Provence, abundant biodiversity contain a large number of species and germplasm resources which have a great value for the biodiversity research. It has important strategic significance to research the eco-compensation of biodiversity in Wuyishan.In this paper the connotation of biodiversity eco-compensation, the research progress, the theoretical foundation, the estimation methods and the value of classification were introduced. According to themethods of comprehensive analysis of equivalency factors and contingent valuation method(CVM),the values of biodiversity in Wuyishanare are assessed.By means of a series of researches and anaylsis,such as the circulation of biodiversity value, the influencing factors in WTA of biodiversity eco-compensation and the proportionofeco-compensation responsibility to the subject of eco-compensation, the author provide some mechanism and implementation safeguard measures for the eco-compensation.The results are as follows:(1)The total values of biodiversity services in Wuyishanare are 391.4×108yuan·a-1,namely 3.69×104 yuan·hm-2·a-1; (2)The WTA value of biodiversity eco-compensation is 6.53×108yuan·a-1, namely 1000 yuan·a-1; (3)The total values ofbiodiversity eco-compensation are 6.53×108～133.47×108yuan, namely 615.81～12586.88 yuan·hm-2, or 642.02～13122.60 yuan·a-1The research results are beneficial to promoting the people's understanding for the value of biodiversity,establishing the biodiversity conservation management for the government,besides, the theoretic foundation and the practice reference are given to studying biodiversity eco-compensation in another area.
