Wetland is a transitional area between terrestrial ecosystem and aquatic ecosystem; it's the largest terrestrial carbon reservoir and also it's an important part of the cycle. Recently, increasingly attention of human beings has been paid on the important role of wetlands, and wetland protection and rational use have become the common goal around the world. As an important part of our capital's wetland ecological system, Beijing wetlands have functions of flood water conservation, regional climate regulation, biodiversity maintenance and ecosystem services and other functions, to ensure Beijing sustainable development. However, as a result of intensified human activities and natural deterioration, Beijing wetlands have been suffering from serious degradation. Therefore, we should establish dynamic prediction information system on wetland landscape for Beijing, so that we can acquire a scientific way of wetland management and provide some decision supports for Beijing wetland managing and planning.In this paper, with the help of 3S technology and landscape, I have been studying on Beijing wetlands. According to actual needs, I will develop a detailed analysis on the management of Beijing wetlands data. Goals, design principles, system architecture and functions of Beijing dynamic prediction information system on wetland landscape are discussed. A large number of Beijing wetlands data is collected, through the standardization of this data, Beijing wetland database is established. According to the characteristics of Beijing wetlands data, based on database technology and XML technology, the idea of managing Beijing wetlands data annually on tree structure is expounded. Under the discussion of the situation of Beijing wetlands, extract factors impacting Beijing wetland landscape changes, combining with the cellular automata and artificial neural network, the prediction model for Beijing wetlands is constructed.On this basis, use one of GIS components--Supermap Objects and MFC Windows programming techniques, choose Visual C++6.0 as developing platform, Oracle lOg as the back-end database, dynamic prediction information system on Beijing wetland landscape is programmed. Use the data from Beijing database to test and verify the system and find out the prediction model constructed is validated to reach the accuracy of 80%, which reaches the predicted accuracy. This system is easy to operate, convenient to maintain and runs stably, meeting the desired objectives and requirements. This system can provide necessary information and decision support services for Beijing Wetlands management and plan-making.
