Ladle slag detection system has very important practical production significance to continuous casting steel production, it can increase the purity of steel water, reduce the bad blank ratio, and prolong the working life of continuous casting line vessels effectively. Based on the practical production circumstance of Bao-steel electrical furnace factory, in allusion to the problems of electromagnitical style slag detection system which is applied currently, such as high manufacture cost, easy malfunction, inconvenient installation and maintenance, a kind of vibration style ladle slag detection system realization method was put forward in this paper.First Chapter:the development status and application status of slag detection system in continuous casting in internal and overseas in recent years are described. What's more, the application status of several vibration signal process methods are described prospectively. Considering the requirements for automatic slag detection in internal, the slag detection system realization method using vibration measurements was brought forward.Second Chapter:Physical process of slag carry-over in terminal phase of ladle pouring was studied, it was found that sink vortex was the most important reason of slag carry-over, and the vibration signal mutant phenomenon is studied when the vortex is forming. Field experiment based on industry data, ladle casting process of the environmental interference signal is analyzed, testing the effectiveness of the system to provide a guarantee.Third Chapter:For continuous casting ladle slag detection system's basic requirements, modular design based on the completion of the vibration of ladle slag detection system architecture design; On this basis, the function of the task partitioning, and its functional interface, data dependence relations described in detail.Forth Chapter:Molten steel on the impact of vibration signals collected pretreatment operation; and then describes the wavelet analysis, wavelet packet analysis of the basic theory and the vibration signal analysis, wavelet packet analysis to analyze vibration signals of the impact of molten steel, to realize the ladle residue under the effective identification process.Fifth Chapter:Development of the ladle slag detection system. Steel Furnace in the continuous casting line of industrial field experiments show that the system of low cost, easy installation and maintenance, stable operation and slag detection success rate of 95%, to better meet the basic needs of the actual production casting.Sixth Chapter:concluding the work of this paper, follow-up and outstanding issues were reviewed.
