With the continuous development of automatic production technology.All walks of life have entered the ranks of automation and the steel industry is no exception.The evolution of advanced production mode is also accompanied by the birth of new technology.Many refinery technologies have been developed in iron and steel industry to improve the output and quality of iron and steel.The invention of ladle furnace(LF)refining technology greatly stimulates the development of iron and steel industry in the direction of refined steelmaking.In the process of LF refining,the control of temperature is very important.The billet produced by the specified temperature that is not reached cannot meet the requirements of continuous casting.Exceeding the specified temperature will not only affect the quality of billet,but also waste a lot of power resources.Because the LF refining process is not carried out in vacuum,the method of burying arc slag is used to isolate the air for the purpose of degassing and removing impurities,and the steel water is covered with slag.Therefore,it is difficult to directly monitor the temperature of molten steel in furnace by radiation method.At present,the temperature monitoring in the LF furnace is still in the way of artificial thermocouples.In this way,it not only costs a lot of manpower and material resources,but also affects the progress of the refining process.Therefore,in view of the specific conditions of the LF furnace,this paper has carried out the design of the on-line monitoring system for the temperature of the molten steel in the LF furnace.The work of this paper mainly includes the following contents:1)The principle of colorimetric temperature measurement and the advantages and disadvantages relative thermocouple temperature measurement are analyzed.A method for calculating the temperature in a ladle refining furnace by the law of conservation of energy is proposed.The way to realize the temperature monitoring method in furnace by combining the law of conservation of energy and colorimetric temperature measurement is analyzed and explored.2)A brief description of the basic principles,economic benefits and problems to be solved for the refining technology outside the furnace.3)Monitoring the temperature change in the LF furnace.The target was analyzed by colorimetric method in the non-contact temperature measurement method,and the temperature of molten steel was determined.PLC technology was used to introduce the components,temperature,quality parameters and operation parameters such as adding power,blowing argon,feeding wire and exhaust wind speed.Using the conservation of energy method to deduce the temperature of the water surface in the process.Monitor the heat treatment process.Guarantee the accuracy of measurement at the same time,to improve the heat treatment guarantees the product quality,achieve the goal of saving energy and reducing consumption;Guide the operation process of adding electric,blowing argon and feed wire to the process to guarantee higher heat efficiency and further improving the quality of the steel liquid.4)Build a database to achieve remote access.The information of temperature and quality of each furnace of molten steel will be stored in the form of SQL Server database and placed in the server to facilitate the analysis of various parameters in the refining process.
