With the development of science and technology, demands for products precision and miniature are getting higher and higher. According to the requirement of machinery manufacture, for example, small size, complex structure, and wide range and so on, the author researched the electrolytic jet machining.The main content of this thesis is studying the process low and analyzing the material remove of the small hole-drilling and narrow groove machining in conductive materially by electrolytic jet machining. The power of this machine is a high-voltage pulse power, and it's voltage is much higher than the average electrolysis, adjustable rang is 100V~1000V. And its maximum current can reach 5A. This method is using the electrochemical dissolution of metal anodes to remove the material as the "ion" mode, and the surface of workpiece does not exit metallurgical defect, so the electrolytic jet machining is a promising micro-machining technology.Through the single factor experiment the author explore the affection of the concrete processing parameter on the machining and the range of processing parameters, and verified the main factors which may affect the processing, including voltage, frequency and duty cycle. Based on the single factor experiment, the author designed the orthogonal experiment. By the orthogonal experiment, the author investigated whether the processing parameters existence interaction between each other and discussed the process of material remove. Through the experiments we obtain that various parameters of pulse power has some influence on processing effect, for example, the voltage play a key role for the strength of electrolysis; duty cycle has some influence on the morphology of processing aperture, and the best choice is 30% to 40%, and frequency has a certain influence on the aperture size, and the greater the frequency the deeper the hole processing within the scope of the study. We analysis the processing mechanism of the electrolytic jet machining through the experiment phenomenal and the stored waveforms by the virtual instrument with the Labview, which show that the current efficiency is in 40% to 60%. The maximum current density is several hundred times of the normal ECM, and the current efficiency at higher frequencies will be greaterThe results by the experiments have reference value for the electro jet machining, and it is helpful to choice the processing parameters and design the equipment of the process.
