Studies On The Dimethyl 2,2'-azobis(2- Alkyl Propionate)

This paper aimed to study on the Dimethyl 2,2'-azobis(2-alkyl propionate) and AIBN.The contents included the following information:1 A series of Dimethyl 2,2'-azobis(2-alkyl propionate) had been obtained by HAIBN,Chlorine,Alcohol, in the solvent of Alcohol. Focused on the synthesis of Dimethyl 2,2'-azobis(2-methyl propionate) and Dimethyl 2,2'-azobis(2-ethyl propionate) .Other Dimethyl 2,2'-azobis(2-alkyl propionate) had been prepared by it. (1)The optimum synthetical condition of Dimethyl 2,2'-azobis(2-methyl propionate) were:HAIBN, Chlorine, Methanol ratio was 1:1.3:0.8, reaction temperature was 20℃for 18 hours,yield 93.5%.(2) The optimum synthetical condition of Dimethyl 2,2'-azobis(2-ethylpropionate) were:HAIBN, Chlorine, Ethano ratio was 1:1.4:0.9, reaction temperature was 20℃for 19 hours,yield 93.0%.2 AIBN had been obtained by the oxidant of HAIBN in the industrial alcohol,which was prepared by Cyanohydrin and Hydrazine hydrate.we had optimized synthesis conditions. (1)The optimum synthetical condition of HAIBN were: Cyanohydrin, Hydrazine hydrate was 1:0.56, reaction temperature was 30℃for about 5h,yield 95.2%.(2)The optimum synthetical condition of AIBN were:HAIBN, chlorine was 1:0.56, reaction temperature was15℃for about 2h,yield 94.9%.
