Research On Legal Issues In Enterprise Environmental Information Disclosure

Enterprise environmental information disclosure (Below referred to as EEID) is an important issue in environmental law. EEID both the requirements of enterprise environmental responsibility, but also the product of the development of information disclosure. EEID is an important system design to implement enterprise environmental responsibility, strengthen the government's environmental management and achieving public participation in environmental protection. Facing the complex serious environmental problems, we must to strengthen enterprise responsibility in environmental protection. EEID as an important safeguard mechanism in the implementation of enterprise environmental responsibility becomes a crucial topic. The aims of this article are to explore some basic issues of the EEID. This article is divided into five chapters, following the main content:Chapter 1 by defining the relevant definition of environmental information, from the side of the nature of environmental information, generation method, there is the scope of the form and content, and on Multi-angle to explain environment information. Proposed environmental information disclosure and analyze the relationship between environmental information disclosure and citizen right to know the environments information. I explain the origin of EEID. I make a simple classification for EEID important role and significance. Finally I have a detail about the elements of EEID.Chapter 2 discusses the theoretical basis of EEID. EEID produced in the reflection of enterprise social responsibility. EEID is enterprise's responsibilities and obligations. EEID is the important embodiment of sustainable development thought.Chapter 3 discussion the real demand of EEID. It is the inevitable requirement of develop a low carbon economy. It is the scientific basis of Government environmental management. It is the continued momentum of Enterprise's survival and development. It is the urgent needs of Public participation in environmental protection.Chapter 4 comparison the legislation and practice of abroad. Briefly analyzes the EEID of EU, US, Japan and Britain. Thus provide a good reference for the discussion of China's EEID.Chapter 5 based on the legislation and practice situation of Chinese EEID, a brief summary about some problems of EEID. Summary and lessons the legislative experience from foreign EEID. Provide a good reference for our EEID.Through discussion, and finally concluded that:Various international treaties and domestic law has a variety of definitions on environmental information. This paper argues that should analyze his nature, form and way to produce and content range. So as to deepen our grasp and understanding of the environment information. They influence each other and common development. The EEID has a rich theoretical basis.Moreover, there are many real needs of EEID. In order to promote the development of EEID, China should establish and perfect the legal system of public participation in environmental protection.EEID is a complex legal issue.
