| Copper-graphite self-lubricating composite, with the excellent metal properties as copper and high-temperature lubricity as graphite, is the ideal high temperature bearing materials. It's performance directly affect the whole functions in the field of automotive, railway, aviation and spaceflight. At present, the methods of preparing copper-graphite composite have problems of poor wettability, low compressive strength,complicated technology and high production cost. The method of semi-solid processing and casting-rolling technology are applied into the preparation of copper-graphite composite in this paper,In this paper, the method of semi-solid casting-rolling technology was proposed.The major technical conditions of excellent performance semi-solid casting-rolling copper-graphite plate were determined by a lot of experiments and theoretical analysis.The main contents and conclusion were described as follows.1. The uniform copper-graphite slurry was gained by the method of electromagnetic-mechanical stirring. The slurry with different solid fraction can be got by controlling the stirring temperature.2. The copper-graphite plate was prepared by the method of semi-solid casting-rolling, Reasonable production process was designed. Got the relationship between the solid fraction and the size of graphite. The conditions for eliminating macro-segregation of graphite in copper-graphite composite were obtained.3. The relationship between the process parameters and the compressive strength was studied by compressive tests of copper-graphite plate which has different solid fraction.4. The structure of copper-graphite semi-solid casting-rolling plate was analysis. Explore the influence mechanism of process parameters on the compressive performance of the plate. |
