Compared with body material, quasi-one-dimensional nanomaterial has completely different excellent characteristics and application potential. In the recent years, the preparation of the quasi-one- dimensional orderly nano structure materials becomes a field of hot in materials science. There are a variety of preparation methods for nanomaterials, and electrochemical deposition method has such advantages as economical, simple and convenient, and through the method we can be prepared with the novel nanowires and thin films.In this paper,we repot the preparation of large- scale ZnO quasi-one- dimensional orderly nanostructures materials using method of the electrochemical deposition and oxidation. This method is divided into two steps to prepare ZnO orderly materials.The first step is electrochemical deposition: use the silicon for the substrate and Construct the quasi-two-dimensional growth space in the cell by the principle of solute condense separately, then preparing the zinc/zinc oxide quasi-one- dimensional materials by electrochemical deposition through accurate control of the plus potential. Through the superficial characteristics of the sample by the SEM and TEM, the surface topography of the sample presents Rod structure and presents laminated structure in the surface of the sample and the laminated structure increase with the increasing of the PH in the electrolyte solution.And there are being Monocrystal zinc and a little of ZnO in the deposition sample,the zinc is six-party dense accumulation structure. The second step is oxidation:the oxidation of the sample ,zinc/zinc oxide material which is prepared in the first step ,in the high temperature air 2h. By means of oxidation, we prepared the large-scale ZnO quasi-one-dimensional orderly nanostructures materials. Through the superficial characteristics of the sample by the SEM ,there are much crystal whisker when the sample which is deposited in the electrolyte which PH is 3.0,and when the PH is 5.0 and 7.0 ,the surface topography of the sample do not change, the zinc oxide is also six-party dense accumulation structure.In this work,the UV absorption of ZnO was carried out and analyzed also.The electrodeposition mechanism and impact factor, such as potential, electrolyte, pH, were studied in this paper. The growth process and mechanism of acicular zinc oxide from zinc by oxidation was analyzed.
