Fatigue is the main ways of mechanical parts become invalid. Because of their invalid generate major accidents frequently. In my study, the goal is to calculate the fatigue life that the subject is prestressed steel wire spiral main frame and its components of the Hydraulic Automatic Press. The first step is through the CAD software PRO/E to build three-dimensional model of the main frame, and then utilize the CAE software ANSYS to calculate. At first, Comparing with the methods of different fatigue analysis, and combing with the actual situation of Hydraulic Automatic Press to make sure our method of fatigue analysis.In this paper,Utilizing CAD software PRO/E completed the 3D model of the main frame and its components(include pole,top beam and lower beam). And then, According to the actual situation,come up with reasonable hypothesis and simplified boundary conditions.Through CAE software ANSYS, we can get their finite element model,completed the model selection and setted the boundary conditions. Under the pretension and working conditions, research their static analysis According to the result of analysis,we can get the top beam occurs fatigue position is on the inside contacting part of beam and pole,the value of von mises is 271MPa;and the pole occurs fatigue position is on the bottom of the extruding part of their contact. The value of von mises is 226MPa. The analysis result shows that they less than the material ZG-310-570 of allowable stress 310MPa, comply with the design requirements. On the base on the analysis result, combined with the S-N curve of ZG-310-570, According to the theory of Miner and nominal stress limited design, utilizing the fatigue module of CAE analysis software ANSYS to calculate the frame's fatigue life. The results show in the ideal conditions, the fatigue life of top beam and pole is 25.06 and 26.4 years. It can provide a good forecast for safety production and also provide valuable reference to the optimization design of the machine. The research shows if use this design method we can complete frame intensity and analysis fatigue life work, gained good forecast results.
