With the rapid development of social economy, both in aerospace, automotive, military, fuel and other ways, petroleum products have become a necessity in all areas throughout the national economy, and bring a series of marine oil pollution. it is no exaggeration to say that petroleum bring huge gains and convenience for people, but also bring a serious of marine oil pollution. In order to reduce the destroy of the oil spill on the marine ecological environment, and consider about the resource recycling, using skimmer for recover oil spill is considered as the best way of oil spill emergency response.Most of the existing skimmers more or less exist of single function, recovery efficiency is not high, complex structure, affected by environmental conditions serious and urgent need to improve. Based on compare and analysis the new dynamic surface oil skimmer and the existing all kinds of oil skimmer, find out of themselves advantages and disadvantages from the working principle, and through a method of combination computer aided design and computational fluid dynamics, simulate the deflector which has the function of oil-water pre-separation in dynamic curved surface oil skimmer of different design models, and then through a comprehensive comparison of each model's flow field, at last,according this to optimize the structure of the inlet flow path to enhance oil-water separation efficiency. Specifically as follows:1.With the dynamic curved surface oil skimmer as the optimization object, after analysis its working principle, find out of the main structure factors which affect the oil-water separation efficiency of the oil skimmer and conduct rational abstract and simplified. Based on the structure establish its CAD models which have different sizes and shapes and corresponding mathematical models.2.With the CAD model that have already been established last step meshing, using fluid simulation software FLUENT conduct single-phase flow numerical simulation when there is only water in the model to obtain the flow field of the model inside.3.In the velocity field that near the curved surface flow path, Calculate the positive y-axis and the positive x-axis average speed of each model, through which to compare the merits of the designed models in which the y-axis average speed represent the floating rate of the oil droplets and the x-axis average speed represent the fluid flow trends, and finally obtain the optimal structure model of surface flow path.4.using the MIXTURE model which is in FLUENT software simulate the oil-water separation conditions of the internal models, and get the separation efficiency variation with the optimization parameters changes, which verifies the accuracy of optimization results. Eventually make the oil skimmer achieve the best oil-water separation conditions in theory, and with practice, adjust or improve the shape and location of the deflector.
