Forging is one of the basic process of mechanical manufacturing, and the free forging hydraulic press machine is used in forging industry, which is used to forge freely. In recent years, the demand for large forging is increasing in domestic and international electric power, shipbuilding, heavy machinery manufacturing, aerospace and defense technology industries. The quality and production capacity of the large forgings is the main symbol of a country's industrial development level. So the forging hydraulic press's specifications and equipment level can demonstrate one country's capacity of manufacturing.The paper studies large forging hydraulic press based on the rack, and designs a large forging hydraulic press with three beams, two columns and prestressed frame structure to get the best stability and capacity of anti-bending. The paper gives a way to use proportioning pumps and multi-pump combination control for making sure the forging hydraulic press's pressure can change when direction is changed, set the optimal time to make the output flow sinusoidal similarly, as well as reduce the impact on machine. In this paper, do the following tasks:(1)Analyze the various parts of hydraulic machine frame the forces and power issues, and measure the recovery of the whole system. Make the output flow sinusoidal similarly and keep the forging hydraulic press working stably.(2) Design and analyze the prestressed columns by dynamics.(3)Model simplified three-dimensional solid model rack by using Pro/Engineer.(4)Simulate the movement of forging press by ADAMS, draw the displacement, velocity and acceleration versus time curve, and find the risk condition of columns.(5)Analyze the static strength, fatigue strength, stress distribution and deformation conditions in two different conditions by ANSYS, and then calculate the safety factors of the static strength and fatigue strength.(6)Analyze the capacity of proportioning pumps and multi-pump combination control, and set a optimized time to open different pumps to make the output flow sinusoidal similarly. Finally, make a summary and outlook for this article and el aborate the deficiencies in t he research process and t he future remains to be resolved.
