The Optimization Of Landscape Pattern Based On Landscape Ecology

The study of landscape patterns plays a constructive role for the development of landscape ecology and it is an important research direction. Landscape pattern analysis studies the structure and spatial layout of landscape by comparing the characteristics of different types of landscape patches. It provides a reference for landscape management and the optimization of land pattern. Area is a system that collect natural, social, whose structure and function is impacted and dominated by human activities. So the study of landscape pattern should starts at human activity.Under the conditions of the basic idea of landscape ecology as a guide, Laohekou as the study range, this paper study the integrated features of land use and the characteristics of different types of landscape pattern form the perspective of landscape ecology. The writer tries to propose the views of land use pattern optimization, as a reference for creating a sustainable developing landscape ecosystem.The main content of this paper is partitioning the landscape pattern of Laohekou reasonably under the support of Geographic Information System (GIS). The overall landscape pattern of all kinds of landscape types and the landscape pattern of different land use types in different landscape types has been analyzed by using FRAGSTATS. Finally, the idea for optimizing the landscape pattern has been proposed as a reference for the land management work of Laohekou.The research results show that the elements of Laohekou landscape has been dominated by farmland whose dominance is very obvious; rural settlements scatter and arrange arbitrarily; waters in the west concentrate and reservoirs distribute in Laohekou evenly which play an important role in developing the climate; cities, towns concentrate, transportation land distribute unevenly and transport facilities in hilly landscape are imperfect; forest patches are rare in the plains and grasses are rare in plains and flat hill landscape; the fragmentation of corner is serious and the landscape shape is irregular.The views and measures for optimizing the landscape pattern has finally been proposed:the multiple ecological functions of agricultural land should be exerted; basic ecological land should be protected; the character of landscape should be improved; the optimization advice for agricultural land and construction land has been put forward. They are for improving the living environment and promote the sustainable development of economic, social and environment.
