The Design Of The New Swirl-flow Sedimentation Tank

As the economy developing, people's living standards requirements is increasing, people pay more and more attention to water pollution.Sedimentation tank which are widely used to remove suspended solids in water is an important structure. Sedimentation tanks are widely used in wastewater treatment. It has many types, according to the direction of water current, they are divided into the horizontal-flow, the vertical-flow and the up-flow, swirl-flow. In this paper, the sedimentation tanks are designed primarily for treating laboratory wastewater and a small amount of industrial wastewater for water purification and recycling products.Comparing to others design, the new swirl-flow sedimentation tank has the following advantages:1. Combined with the advantages of the maze sedimentation tank, sloping pipe sedimentation tank and flow sedimentation tank, using a small area, discharging mud conveniently;2. The new swirl-flow sedimentation tank use the centrifugal force to take the place of the gravity to accelerate the settlement of suspended solids;3. The internal structure of swirl-flow sedimentation tank are easy to combine with other processing means, in theory, the sedimentation tank high treatment efficiency;4. The shape of the structure is easy to be connection in series and parallel to improve the efficiency of sewage treatment and protect the stability of treatment.
