In this paper, the different emulsion and nano-filler was blended into polyacrylate, and the blending system was studied. The viscosity of emulsion/polyacrylate blends was connected with the additional emulsion. Dynamic mechanical analysis and adhesion test results showed that the comprehensive damping capacity of different blends had certain improvements, and adhesion level did not change compared with polyacrylate. For different nano-filler/polyacrylate blends, the viscosity of system was different with the various nano-filler. The viscosity increased with nano-filler increasing for the same filler blends. Dynamic mechanical analysis, adhesion test and scanning electron microscopy observations revealed that the addition of nano-acrylic rubber powder significantly improved the damping properties of polyacrylate; Nano-calcium carbonate, nano-silica and nano-titania could also improve the damping properties of polyacrylate The improvement of nano-clay was worst. The addition of nano-filler decreased the adhesion level of polyacrylate damping coating. Nano-acrylic rubber powder, nano-calcium carbonate, nano-silica and nano-titania in the polyacrylate matrix had good dispersion and no serious agglomeration.Nano-filler and polyacrylate blend Films was exposed to accelerate ultraviolet aging. By dynamic mechanical analysis test it was found that the comprehensive damping properties of the blends decreased at different degree, but there was still good damping performance in the quite wide temperature range. Fourier transform infrared spectrometer (FTIR) was utilized for analyzing the changes on the film surface after UV aging. The result showed that after UV aging no new characteristic absorption peaks appeared, which indicated that no new group generated on the surface. Howerver, the prepared system membrane experienced natural aging at ambient temperature for a certain time. Dynamic mechanical tests showed that there was no severe deterioration in the different system blends despite the decline in performance.
