Spinning forming technique is a plastic processing technology of continuous partial point-wise deformation. It can produce sophisticated and complex parts with high strength and excellent mechanics capability, and it is often the most effective way to manufacture thin-walled hollow rotary parts. Aerospace and defense industries have the more need of small accounts of precise thin-wall spinning parts. Tension spinning technology was invented to supply the need. It usually depends on empirical value when designing shaping parameters of the spinning process, and simply analyzes the defects reasons in the forming process, so it just can provide limited help to prevent defects. In order to improve this situation, this paper puts forward finite elements numerical method. This kind of method can improve the reliability and efficiency of the process design by simulating the forming process. This paper systematically reviews the application and development of numerical simulation in the spinning forming process, and process designs of the actual workplace'basic dimensions and material property based on the empirical approach are made for spinning and tension forming process, and basic technological parameters are shown. This paper also establishes geometrical model and calculates and simulate it after operating cell property of unit distribution, meshing and adding restrictions load for it. Under this condition, stress-strain analysis in the forming process is obtained. Base on the analysis of the steady-state, it gets various factors that influence the forming process in the numerical simulation of the forming process and achieve the purpose to validate and analysis the rationality of technological parameters. At last, this paper prospects the future of the second technology of finite element analysis software based on the existing problems produced by finite elements software during the simulation process.
