In this experiment, a mixture of biofuel is prepared by adding 70 percent 0# diesel oil, 20 percent castor oil and 10 percent ethanol alcohol (70/20/10, v/v, noted as B20E10). The experiment was carried out as follows: (1) The 2-Ethylhexyl nitrate, the antioxidant 300 and the T1804, which react on the heat value, the oxidative stability and the diesel fuel low-temperature fluidity performance influenced by a single factor, were studied for the first time. (2) On the basis of step 1, the optimized experimental formula was obtained through an orthogonal experimentation. (3) The preparation of emulsion of castor oil based mixtures of biodiesel and the influence on stability due to various factors were studied. Meanwhile, the mechanism to maintain a certain level of stability was analyzed. The results showed the followings: (1) Through single factor experiments, antioxidant 300, for which the optimized content is 0.6% (mass ratios), is better for improving the oxidative stability. The activation energy of the oxidation reaction for the mixture of biofuel is 48.18 kJ/mol; (2) The 2-Ethylhexyl nitrate, for which the optimized content is 1% (mass ratios), is better for improving the heat value. The heat value of the mixture of biofuel reached 45 MJ·kg~-1; (3) T1804 is better for improving the low temperature flow performance. Its optimized content is 0.15% (mass ratios). The solidification point and pour point of the mixture of biofuel are -46℃and 0℃, respectively. The contents of 2-Ethylhexyl nitrate, antioxidant 300 and T1804, for which based on the single factor experiments were studied by orthogonal experimentation. The optimized experimental formula in which 2-Ethylhexyl nitrate, antioxidant 300 and T1804 are 0.5%, 0.6% and 0.15% (mass rations), respectively, was obtained by the synthetical balance method. For the preparation of W/O type emulsified oil, the stability of emulsified biofuel is best when the HLB value is 7~8, the emulsification temperature is 30~50℃, the rotation speed is 1000 rpm, the emulsification time is 10 min, and the emulsifier and water content are both 5%~10%. On the above conditions, the combination of the Span 80 and Tween 80 is used as emulsifier, for which the HLB value is 8. And this kind of emulsifier can be made into the emulsified biofuel. The stable time can reach 240 min.
