As science and technology, especially high-tech field of development, the requirements of the aluminum and aluminum products is higher. Aluminum purification technology is the key to improve the purity of the melt, casting performance and final product quality in the process of casting is decided. Now people are beginning to aluminum melt treatment, particularly in the status and importance of purification in the aluminum field.In response to this situation, this paper learn electroslag casting, , doing a series of experiments with purification method of aluminum electrode flux, the purification effect of this method was studied. In the course of the study, the main conclusions are as follows:⑴This experimental device designed to clean aluminum to meet the laboratory experiments aluminum cleaning requirements, to complete the expected experimental content.⑵This article is not designed with three aluminum liquid flux for physical, chemical reaction, it will not dissolve each other. Flux should be lower than the melting point of aluminum refining temperature, mobility, and easy to form a continuous aluminum surface coating can absorb, such as dissolution and fragmentation Al2O3 inclusions, consistent with ZLSi7Cu2Mg alloy purification experiments.⑶After the electric flux purification treatment, the aluminum alloy tensile strength and elongation were increased by 32% and 331%.Organize dendrite of Aluminum Alloy become small and developed after flux treatment. liquid aluminum does not contain too much inclusions,and complete the solidification process in homogeneous nucleation during flux treatment. Undercooled melt begin solidify, the temperature must continue to lower in the learning solidification process to lead to further increase the undercooling.⑷Si, Mn, Cu, Ti content of Aluminum Alloy remained unchanged before and after treatment by comparing the experimental results,but Mg。Flux-45%KCl+45%MgCl2+10% Na3AlF6 can offer Mg,which react with Si to form Mg2Si. Mg2Si dissolved into Matrix with Aging precipitation during Solution treatment,make crystal lattice distorted, Strengthen alloy to improve the tensile strength.⑸Orthogonal experiment was introduced for factor of Aluminum electrode flux method-Current(250,275,300A) flux ratio(55%KCl+35%MgCl2+10%Na3AlF6,45%KCl+ 45%MgCl2+10%Na3AlF6,35%KCl+55%MgCl2+10%Na3AlF6),flux thickness(40,60,80mm).Influence of flux ratio on refining purification is greater than flux thickness and Current. The best combination: 55%KCl+35%MgCl2+10%Na3AlF6 and 60mm and 250A- B1C2A1.
