The Metal-organic Frameworks Constructed By Aromaticcarboxylicacid And N-containing Ligands

Metal-Organic Frameworks(MOFs) are a type of coordination complexes constructed through metal ions and ligands. They have extensive application prospect, gas absorption, catalysis, optical and magnetic materials. Scientists scheme out many compounds with novel structure in recent years. It is important to master the factors influencing the structure of the coordination complex.In this thesis, on the basis of seven carboxylic acid and N-containing ligands: 2,4,6-tri methyl-1,3,5-benzene tricabonic acid, 4,6-dimethyl-5-nitro-isophthalic acid, Bis(2-ï½›5-[(2- carboxyphenyl)sulfanyl-methyl]-2,4-dimethyl benzylsulfanyl｝-benzoato), 1,2,2-trimethyl-1,3 -cyclopentanedicarboxylic acid, 2-tetrazole-1-methylenetetrazole-benzene, (2E)-2-[(2,3–dihy droxyphenyl)methylene]hydrazone, 4,4'-bipyridyl, we synthetized 10 novel coordination complexes:(1) Cu(2,4,6-trimethyl-1,3,5 -benzen tricabonic acid,(2) Cd(phen)( 4,6-dimethyl-5- nitro-isophthalic acid),(3) Zn(4,6-dimethyl-5-nitro-isophthalic acid)(pyridine),(4) Co₂(1,2,2- trimethyl-1,3-cyclopentanedicarboxylic acid)₂(H₂O)₄4,4'- bipyridyl,(5) Co(Bis(2-ï½›5-[(2- car boxyphenyl)sulfanyl-methyl]-2,4-dimethyl benzylsulfanyl｝-benzoat o))₂(pyridine)₂,(6) Fe (Bis(2-ï½›5-[(2-carboxyphenyl)sulfanyl-methyl]-2,4-dimethyl benzylsulf anyl｝-benzoato))₂(pyridine)₂,(7) Zn(2-tetrazole-1-methylenetetrazole-benzene)H₂O,(8) Cu₃((2E)-2-[(2,3 -dihydroxyphenyl)methylene]hydrazone)₂(CH₃OH)₃,(9) Cu₂(4,4'-bipyridyl)₂SO₄.(H₂O)₈.All complexes have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Complex 1 is three-dimensional complex; complex 2 is two-dimensional interpenetrated layers; complex 3 is two-dimensional complex; complex 4 is two-dimensional interpenetrated complex; complex 5 and 6 is supramolecular complexes; complex 7 is three-dimensional complex; complex 8 is zero-dimensional complex; complex 9 belongs to one-dimensional chain. The thermogravimetric analysis was discussed.In conclusion, our research work was focused on the complex with the aromatic carboxylate and N-containing ligands. The results would be in favor of our further work.
