Zhaogu NO.1 coal mine possesses typical geological condition with thick alluvium and thin bedrock, in the condition of which ground movement and deformation possesses unique properties with large mining height. This paper bases actual situation of Zhaogu NO.1 coal mine, gains the estimate parameter required with the method of curve fitting by observing the data of surface observational station, proposes the defects of the probability integral method estimating under the condition of thick alluvium and revise it, also predicts the moving and deformation value of trending main section with different mining height in this condition and improves the accuracy of prediction. Again, this paper also analyzes the situation of ground movement and deformation in the condition of different bedrock thickness, summarize the characteristics of ground movement and deformation with mining in the condition of thick alluvium and thin bedrock, improving the coal's recovery maximum and ensuring normal supersedure of mine production, meanwhile, provides technical basis to protective coal pillar's preservation, relocation of villages and land reclamation.
