This article relied on science and technology projects of Shanghai World Expo (2007BAK27B05-7)-Expo, landscape water projects(biological and ecological restoration technology), with EXPO Bailianjing as pilot base, launching a large-scale demonstration project of ecological restoration.1. By using floating bed technology on river regulation in EXPO Bailianjing, evaluation and analysis of effects of landscape have been performed. The usage of system analysis methods determined the weight of the each indicator. The results showed that:The weight of B-level indicators mainly based on ecological benefits. Its weight value is 0.6441, which was followed by landscape benefit (0.2074). The last one was human benefits, whose weight is 0.1486. The average scores of B-class indicator were 8.83,9.12 and 8.26 (out of 10 points). The weight of B-level indicators, except the color continuity and harmony of engineering and river environment, are almost the same. The evaluation criteria showed ecological restoration is still the main purpose of ecological floating bed used in the river. However, because of direct feedback, effects of landscape get the highest score.2. The influence of ecological floats on Bailianjing river biodiversity has been analyzed by selecting 4 groups, the number of total sampling sites is 8. Sampling frequency was once a month, the experimental results showed that:Dominant species of phytoplankton ecological floating bed zone is diatoms algae brittle brittle rods rod Cryptophyta blue algae and cryptomonad algae is blue-hidden. The phytoplankton species was more than blank space, mean value of diversity index was 2.47, which showed that pollution level of this zone belonged toβ-middle dirt. Mean biodiversity index of blank area was 1.86, which belonged to a-medium dirt.3. By monitoring and comparing water quality of floating bed and blank areas, whose time span was from January 2010 to April 2011 (once a week). Experimental results showed that:Most of aquatic plants stopped growth in winter, and roots have lose activity. Furthermore, microbial activity was restrained under low temperature condition. Because some of the deposition of rotten leaves, there were some deviations on local physical and chemical indicators in floating bed area. With growth of plants in ecological floating bed zone and enhancement of microbial activity in spring (3 to 4 months), the COD, TN, TP removal rate have increased significantly and reached 28.2%,32.7% and 21.8%, respectively.China has huge water area, according to the 2010 survey report of environmental quality, the situation of water quality of river is not optimistic. Most rivers have subjected to different degree of pollution, ecological floating bed technology can be used in situ treatment of sewage, bringing about significant economic, landscape and ecological benefits. The project could provide theoretical basis and practical experience for application of ecological floating bed technology in remediation polluted water and effects of landscape.
