The research uses eight different families' Populus×euramericana from three regions, which are Shunyi, Heze and Langbfang, evaluate the pulp and paper properties, and using near infrared spectroscopy technology to build pulping and paper properties of near-infrared model, to estimate of pulp and paper properties in Populus×euramericana provides a new detection method.The results were as follows:Near-infrared reflectance spectroscopy (NIR) spectra were obtained from Populusxeuramericana pulp samples and wood particles (40-60 mesh), establishment of pulping yield model of near-infrared. The results showed that the pulp spectra the coefficients of correlation (R) of calibration and validation for pulping yield were 0.9025 and 0.8709, respectively; the standard error of calibration (SEC) and the standard error of prediction (SEP) were 0.717and 0.767, respectively. And the wood particles (40-60 mesh) spectra the coefficients of correlation (R) of calibration and validation for pulping yield were 0.8279 and 0.8296, respectively; the standard error of calibration (SEC) and the standard error of prediction (SEP) were 0.902 and 0.800, respectively. We can know that the establishment of the near infrared pulp yield prediction model standard error smaller than the wood particles (40-60 mesh), NIR predicted value and actual measured values of the correlation between the Populus×euramericana yield of pulp required; the wood particles (40-60 mesh) spectra measured values predicted and the actual correlation between the general, when a rough prediction of yield testing steps can be used when less Wood particles spectra prediction method.Near-infrared reflectance spectroscopy (NIR) spectra were obtained from Populus×euramericana pulp samples, establishment of pulping Kappa number, the values for R of calibration and validation were 0.9613 and 0.9725, while the SEC and SEP were 1.19 and 1.42, near infrared spectroscopy can quickly and accurately predict pulping yield and kappa number. However used black liquor spectra establishment of pulping Kappa number the results were not very satisfactory. The values for R of calibration and validation were 0.7619 and 0.7330, while the SEC and SEP were 2.640 and 2.880.NIR of each sample was collected, and establish paper properties model of NIR. The results showed that the coefficients of correlation (R) of calibration and validation for basis weight were 0.8824 and 0.8299, respectively; the standard error of calibration (SEC) and the standard error of prediction (SEP) were 1.150 and 1.170, respectively. As for brightness, the values for R of calibration and validation were 0.9621 and 0.9612, while the SEC and SEP were 0.997 and 1.300. NIR was used to rapidly predict tensile index, tearing index and bursting index of the paper samples. It was found that these paper properties fitted by NIR and GB methods were high correlation, the coefficients of correlation (R) of calibration and validation for basis weight was above 0.8000, and the SEC and SEP were very small. These results revealed except individual model need for further amendments, that the five paper properties of Populus×euramericana and NIR model have high correlation, so the NIR could be used for the paper properties prediction.In order to get a better prediction model, we used the near infrared spectroscopy to predicate brightness. Studied the effects of near-infrared model paper performance factors. Analysis obtained when the scanning frequency is 32 times more suitable for Populus×euramericana brightness near infrared spectroscopy models. Resolution and brightness the accuracy of prediction was no regular variation, considering the 32cm-1 can choose the resolution of the model. Different spectral pretreatment methods on Populus×euramericana brightness effect of calibration and prediction models had a certain impact. Entirety, can be used the first derivative+MSC for spectral preprocessing, the model can be obtained relatively good results.
