The Preliminary Study On The Wetlands Restoration, Protection, Rational Development And Utilization Of Urban Wetland Park Planning In China

As a measure of protect and rational utilize about wetlands in China, "Wetland Park" has already been an approach widely accepted by most planners and designers in China, and has also widely used in the Planning about wetland restoration and sustainable utilization. But the way of such an approach as "Wetland Park" for protecting and utilizing wetland was not seen abroad. The foreign scientists are very scrupulous about such questions about wetlands. So there must be some problems about wetland protection and development in China. They hasn't been taking it seriously about some root of view about wetlands from the beginning. Not to say some problems coming out about the study on theory and Planning. The wrong basic view must lead to wrong measures about wetland park planning.As a view of nature, the development of wetland is an invisible interference. But considering the function of use by people, the rational utilization of wetland is necessary. As a result, under the circumstances of China, we must study the problem about wetland from both two view.The protection and development is still a contradiction which is hard to balance. No matter the officer or the planner, designer, they lack the basic right theory about wetlands. So nowadays we can't indentify the suitable planning about wetlands sustainable protection and utilization. My Study will begin on the root of some wrong view in China, then analysis and discuss the problem in the theory study and the practice. From the concept to the planning measure, from the site condition to the surroundings, discussing the problems and seek to the right measure for urban wetland planning.Meanwhile, take the case——Fujian Putian Tuhai urban wetland park as an example, study a suitable way of planning to solve the problem mentioned before. And take the responsibility as an landscape architecture to explore the truth. But the effort we had made is seriously affect by the harsh reality. Although the result is not our expectancy, but we will keep on explore the newly truth.
