Starch processing waste-water which has characteristics of high concentration, biodegradable and non-toxic is one of the most serious of organic wastewater. This study introduces various approaches of starch processing waste-water treatments. In the same time, we think that direct treatment not only causes big difficult results from high concentration, but also large waste because the useful substance is directly discharged. In this paper,we elaborate that efficient use of starch processing waste-water with microbiological treatment is feasible and effective. Our study selects Aspergillus oryzae to treat starch processing waste-water and produce microbial protein based on research and analysis of these processing methods with starch processing waste-water. This approach achieves efficient use of wastewater. Our experiment researches various factors in the process of starch processing waste-water with Aspergillus oryzae treatment, and also in the process of microbial protein production. These factors include the production time of bacteria levitation liquid, incubation time,pH,the quantity of inoculation, nutrient improvemen of nitrogen/phosphorous,outfit fluid volume and sterilization or not.It was confirmed the best effect when bacteria levitation liquid is prepared on the same day, incubation time is 30 hour, pH is 5.0, the quantity of inoculation is 10%, the concentration of KH2PO4 is 0.2g/L,utfit fluid volume is 50mL and non-aseptic.The starch processing waste-water is treated by removing 80.02% COD and microbial protein yield achieved 2.75g/L.This study has great significance on the beneficial use of the starch processing waste-water.
