How The Nordic Modernist Architecture Influence On Its Furniture Design

The interplay between architectural style and furniture style has been existing for a long time. As two representative kinds of design in Nordic Europe, Nordic Europe modernism architectural and Nordic Europe furniture must be interlinked with the same manner and method in their respective area of design. Which means researching the Nordic Europe modernism architectural and the Nordic Europe furniture on their respective form, material, color, texture and design style, and analyzing their respective characteristics of every aspect, than compare and summarize the relativity and the reason why exist between them. So we can get the conclusion that what influencing elements come out from the Nordic Europe modernism architectural to the Nordic Europe furniture design, and how the elements act out on the Nordic Europe furniture design.Unlike the previous researches on the Nordic Europe furniture design, this paper wants to research the appearing process of the Nordic Europe furniture design from a unique angle of view and find the infusive elements of design from the Nordic Europe modernism architectural.
